Aspen Grove Ranch – Possibly The World’s Most Beautiful Ranch

Aspen Grove Ranch is a stunning property found just outside the small town of Kremmling in Colorado, USA. The town was founded in 1881 and is now home to just 1441 people. It sits in the heart of Colorado’s ski country, with seven major ski resorts nearby.

THE HISTORY OF ASPEN GROVE RANCH

This incredible home was built in 2007 by the renowned architect Jon Gunson for Starz founder and cable pioneer John Sie. Gunson, a local architect known for creating incredible mountain homes, brought together the vision that John and his wife, Anna, had for the property.

The property is divided into three main areas, the owner’s private wing, an activity and dining area located in the middle of the property, and a connected guest wing accessible by a bridge. All areas offer incredible views of the nearby Gore and Williams Fork mountain ranges.

Aspen Grove Ranch last sold in December 2021 for $19 million!

ASPEN GROVE RANCH – THE HOUSE TODAY

This incredible home sits on 350 acres of land with 24,000 square-foot of living space. It features 10-bedrooms, 12-bathrooms, a bowling alley, two bars, a theatre, a sauna, and much more!

The property’s immediate surroundings include several bridges, waterfalls, ponds, and streams, one of which runs under the house.

The grand entrance to Aspen Grove Ranch, from this angle, you can also so see the bridge which leads over to the connected guest house (left-hand side).

One of the many living areas, this one features a cozy fireplace and incredible views across the surrounding countryside.

A formal dining room, again featuring great views across the ranch.

The main kitchen looks out onto an open-plan dining and living area, with double doors out onto the patio.

If that kitchen isn’t enough, the property has (at least) two more, including the one below, which looks onto another dining and sitting room.

Another sitting room, this one featuring a wooden table in the middle of the room, which, from a distance, looks pretty standard. However, if you continue to scroll down, you’ll see that the table is unique….

One of the most incredible features of this house is the glass table (mentioned above) that allows you to see the water running underneath the property.

Like much of Aspen Grove Ranch, the home office offers magical views across the surrounding countryside and a lovely fireplace to keep you warm during those cold Colorado winters.

Those looking for a drink won’t be disappointed with this western-styled bar, one of two within the property.

This property may not have a swimming pool, but it does have a theatre and a double-lane bowling alley to make up for it.

If the cold Colorado weather is getting to you, who wouldn’t want to spend some time in the warmth of a sauna?

The master bedroom features a fireplace, a dressing room, and an incredible en-suite bathroom.

With 10 bedrooms and a guest wing, you’ll never have a problem finding a spare room for friends and family to stay.

Who wouldn’t want a kid’s bedroom like this if you have a large family? It also features its own kids’ dressing room.

With 12 bathrooms, all very different in style, you’ll most definitely find one that suits your taste.

If you look closely, you can see the town of Kremmling and the Colorado River, which are only a few miles away from the property. For those who want to experience the local amenities, fly fishing, an equestrian center, and shooting ranges can all be found within a short drive of Aspen Grove Ranch.
